... this is one of my favorite part of birthdays. I love cards! These are all of my birthday and mothers day cards from everyone, and a beautiful flower arrangement in the center that Rick and Kathie sent me... LOVE FRESH FLOWERS TOO... thank you so much!
On Mothers day I woke up to a card from my sweet husband and a box of chocolates... yum!
Karly loved the card... the face popped out when you opened it! She could not get enough of it!

Oh man I love being a Mother... and this little cutie is 100% why!
On Mothers Day we started the day out right, spending most of the day with our mom, of course... this was Karly most of the day, dancing, running, playing...
...until... she woke up from her nap and was running a super high temp =( She slept on Aunt Kate for a couple hours and when tylenol did not bring down the temp urgent care it was. 104 temp with an ear infection, NEVER KNEW IT COULD GET THAT HIGH. Luckily they got it down without an IV (they scared us a little when they told us this!) SHE IS BACK TO NEW NOW... my sweet baby!
The Lee Family like to celebrate my birthday and Ricky's sister Michelles birthday all together along with Mothers Day... unfortunately Kar got sick before I could celebrate with them =( Kathie made me her famous cinnamon sugar cake for me. And I asked for gift cards to costco (a table and chair set I want for our backyard) THANK YOU GUYS SOOOO MUCH!
I have to say that my favorite card this year came from my nephew Carlos... he made sure to be the first to hand it to me when I walked in the door. I wish I could have celebrated more with you guys!
The weekend before we did get to bring in cinco de mayo with the Lee's...

That night we went to Eureka Burger for dinner... this picture is for Kate... YUM!
And here is Karly and her Godmother... Ricky and I talked about preparing if (knock on wood) anything should happen to both of us, who would get Karly. We decided that David and Katie were a for sure pick. They love Karly like their own and are super good with her, and she can't get enough of them either, so we were so excited when they agreed to be Karly's Godparents =)
And whats after dinner... MORE FOOD...
David treated us to Dairy Queen... THANK YOU DAVID!
Oh Ya, Amy and I got our cartilage pierced as well... we had to show Karly it wasn't scary!
And the celebrations did not end there... the following weekend we had dinner at my moms house...
