The title of my post has hit me hard the past few weeks in so many ways... the first reason is one I wish I never had to share, but it happened, and I have continued to thank the Lord so much for this blessing...

Last Thursday our baby girl was on the counter cooking with me when she fell backwards! Ricky and I both went to catch her and sort of ran into eachother, Ricky caught her feet... but it ended up that she hit her head even harder on our hard wood floors. She was silent and in shock at first but then her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she was out, limp in my arms! A vision that continues to run through my head and brings me to tears every time! By the time the ambulance got there she had come to but still hadn't cried and was trying to fall asleep. They took a look at her and said everything looked ok and she finally began to cry when they took her pulse... a sound we were all SOOO HAPPY TO HEAR!! They advised us to still have her checked out at emergency, which we did!!! She was fine after this... I, on the other hand, was not... I began to cry in the emergency room, and the tears just kept coming that night and the next day! I kept thinking, why didn't I catch her? Why didn't I break her fall? Why did I have her up there? I am such a bad mom!... While in the emergency room Karly saw me crying and said to me ..."MAMA, YOU CRYING?!?" then put her arms around me and said... "SHHHHH MAMA, IT ALRIGHT!"
So... Lord... I thank you so much for our little girl who is such a blessing to us and all that she meets. She is our pride and joy and I pray harm never comes to her!And although I know that I can't protect her all the time, I pray you help me to try harder! I thank you for being there to guide us and having a happy ending to this scare!!! Thank you from the bottom of a mothers loving heart!!!
The Saturday after Kar's fall, was Amy's 18th birthday... and guess what my crazy sister did?!?
She went SKY DIVING!!! Yes we all thought she was crazy... but her and her good friend Dane have wanted to for a long time, so we bought her the big leap for her birthday! They were both WAY EXCITED...
The package we got her included two practice jumps in the wind tunnel... Kar and Bamma watching Amy's first flight!
Amy, Katie and Karly
The sane sisters who are smart enough to stay on the ground =) Nes kidding little brother!
All geared up! CUTE =/
We all found it very fascinating to watch... Karly has still not stopped talking about it... "Mayme... Jump out of plane!!! Che's Crazy!!!"
Amy practiced with Dane and one other older man... She was the only one who had a huge smile on her face the whole time!!!!

She even did so well that the instructor decided to fly with her... she was the only one he did this with! Way to show up the guys Amy!!! That's my little brother!
