Birthdays, Babies & Rimes =)

The past couple weeks have been fun filled...

 

I have two things to say to this beautiful girl... Happy Birthday again AND Congratulations... I am so happy to report my best friend is going to have her first baby! My mom asked her to take this picture, see the seed on her belly... ha ha... good one mom =) I cried when Amy had told me the good news (I didn't even cry when I found out I was pregnant with Karly... so ya, I am pretty excited for her =)

 

We took a night out to have dinner at Fridays to celebrate her birthday...

and then she was over it, wanted to take off her shirt and kick back =) But I have to report she also knows her hair, neck, knees, butt, elbow, belly, toes and even boobies =/ The best thing in the world is to watch a child grow!!!

 

Speaking of boobies... Wow Kar! I think you are going to make your mom jealous one day!=)

She has been practicing her scrabble game, which apparently... Ricky and I need to do as well! My mom has beat us like 5 times in a row!!! Ugh!

We also had a "big event" in our little town... Leann Rimes did a small concert in the park... my mom really wanted me to go. I have to say that my husband is starting to rub off on me, I almost threw up when I saw the crowd...

 

... but I have to say that I really enjoyed some mom and me time! The concert was nice and relaxing and she is an amazing singer! Thanks mom for making me go... I had a lot of fun!

A week vacation & fun fourth!

We really had an awesome fourth of July weekend this year... 

 

...it started off with a trip out to San Diego to stay the night with the Lee family on Rick's boat! Amy went with us too! Kar decided to wear her helmet for the ride down =)

Kathie made reservations for dinner at this AMAZING mexican food place. This is my guacamole taco... OMG... YUM!

The place was really neat with so much to entertain the kids, Karly had been eyeballing the balloon guy ALL NIGHT... so she was way excited when he made it to our table!

All the grandkids =) We honestly had the best time... THANK YOU RICK AND KATHIE SO MUCH! You guys are two of the most generous, sweet people I know and am so happy to be a part of your family!

 

We headed back on Sunday to enjoy some fourth of July fun with my family too...

 

Tracy and Pat are on vacation, we are watching their house for them while they are gone. They let us know we could do the fourth celebration there, so we took them up on the offer! Kar LOVES their trampoline!

Now the Fourth of July weekend started a one week vacation for me from work, our office takes time off in the summer because it just too dang hot for people (we have a lot of "snow-birds" that leave for the summer) so everything slows down... I have enjoyed my week with my baby girl more than words can say...

... and even welcomed a new little one to the family! Cory and Deatra had a baby boy named after Grandpa Admal (Admal Kenneth Lee). Bella was so cute, she went around telling everyone that we went to see Baby Grandpa =) LOVE HER... so we will end this post by welcoming Baby Grandpa to the family! Congratulations Cory, Deatra and Grace!
