A Birthday for the Best Mother-in-law!

I have to say that I am one blessed girl... I have a beautiful mom and sisters whom I am so close to, but the Lord did not stop there. He also blessed my life with an honestly amazing mother-in-law as well! And this week we celebrated her birthday...

 

Kathie watches Karly on Tuesdays, which was her "real birthday"... so Karly and I picked some flower from our rose bushes at our house and brought them to her!

 

Karly has to get up rather early the days I work, hence the sleepy face =)

 

The Saturday before is when we actually had Kathies Birthday party, she is always very excited to see Karly...

We also had another baseball game to go to... this time for Ethan... Robs mini me =)

 

I don't know why... but this kid cracks us up!

=) He takes his games pretty serious! ... he even told Hailey, his little sister, to tell Grandma Sue that she needs to be quit yelling in the stands for him... that it disrupts his game!

 

He did really well... good job Ethan... We love you bud! (And you will learn to LOVE Grandma Sue yelling in the stands for you, I know we LOVE our CRAZY LOUD FUN Auntie Sue!)

 

Speaking of loud and crazy... Karly was yelling at all the boys on the field...

Hailey was really excited to see Karly! She is so good with her... most kids her age want to just pick up Karly, but Hailey just wants to play with her and is really gentle... little sweetie... at the end of the day she said to me "You know what would be fun?... if you, your honey, and Karly spent the night!" LOVE YOU HAILEY!

 

Ethans coach even took Karly on the field for a little bit of the game... and boy did she think she was cool!

 

Another fun filled week! YAY!

Happy Easter and My Friend Juicy Soon =)

We had another great weekend... with a wedding on Saturday and of course Easter to celebrate on Sunday... here are some of the highlights =)

 

Mom, Katie, David and Amy decided to give Karly her Easter basket a little early... so cute... and it matched her outfit perfect for Easter Sunday... THANKS GUYS!

It had two Dr. Seuss books... of course... Kar loves to have us read books to her!

 

and tons of little speckled frogs (maybe not speckled but they made me think of the song Kt always sings to Kar) Karly LOVES these little guys!

 

And Auntie Sue came over to give Karly a precious little baby doll dressed in a bunny costume...so sweet... THANK YOU!

 

Mom came over for a mid afternoon Saturday nap with Kar... THE BEST!

 

Then that night we were off to Susie Junes wedding (we have gone to school together since we were little and one of our teachers use to call her Juicy Soon, so that is what I call her!) She looked so beautiful and we had a blast!

Amy and Me =) (Kar and Ricky went over to Kathies to visit some family that was down for Easter... and I heard they had a blast there too! Karly loves to go around tickling people now as she says "TICKLE, TICKLE" which the Lee family got to see for the first time that night. (too cute, I will try to get it on video)

 

Then Easter Sunday we headed over to Tracy and Pat's... Kar headed straight for the trampoline!

The girls begged to go swimming... Since Tracy, Katie, Amy and I ALWAYS used to go swimming in our freezing cold pond on the bench we were like "GO AHEAD"... they got the ok, then thought twice after they felt it =)

 

Owen and his favorite..... MAYME!!!! Thank you Waters family for such a relaxing Easter Sunday morning filled with yummy food, family and fun... and thanks Owie for a super comfy crib for Kar to take a good nap in =) WE LOVE YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH!

 

After Kar woke up from her nap we headed over to the Lee home to keep the celebration going =) Bella is always the best greeter! CUTIE!

She did pretty well (Kathie puts cash in all the eggs and Kar banked $17 for her piggy bank!)

By the end of the hunt we all had to count eggs... Kathie put $20 bills in two of the eggs and we were missing one =/ apparently the Easter Bunny doesn't mess around with hiding eggs... so good he can't even remember where he put them =) (Carlos ended up finding the big bucks!)

Kathie also got kar a cute bunny filled with Jelly Beans, her favorite! Not to mention Easter Baskets for Ricky and Me as well filled to the brim with stuff we love... you spoil us too much Kathie! We enjoyed another great meal with the Lee family too and loved every minute of it! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We ALWAYS enjoy ourselves with both of our families and we LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH and consider ourselves SO VERY BLESSED to have ALL OF YOU IN OUR LIVES! HAPPY EASTER!
