Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!!!

... Before I get to Christmas and New Years, I have a few other pictures to share... this one is a long post =/ We have just been too busy lately =)
My BFF Amy is very close to delivering her first baby boy... Tanner Nox...I can't wait to get my hands on him! We got to go up to Oak Glen for hot apple cider and warm apple pie for her baby shower.. YUM!
This is Ava her adorable little neice!
And Andee her other neice... they are both just too cute!
Just like their mom and Aunt! Amy is all just baby, like we would have thought she would gain it anywhere else! Her mom made her these blankets... gosh I love a beautiful crocheted blanket!!!
And you gotta love double gifts =/ luckily we included the reciept! =) Love you Amy... enjoy this last month and you are always in my prayers for a quick, safe and easy delivery! CAN'T WAIT!!!
Our birthdays don't slow down during the holiday season... we celebrated Ricky's sisters at his mom's house...
Our two youngest girls... but not for long =) Emmy Bleu and Abby June are on thier way!! =)
 Playing with uncle Dan...

 Carlos, Kar and Macy
 Just girls!
We also had time for an El Paseo trip!
Love this picture... Karly and Kelly Ann
Karly mimics my workouts now... she will drop and give you 10 push ups whenever asked... and her yoga is just adorable!
This cute bod just doesn't come naturally =) jk!
When you ask Kar to give the "the eyes" this is the look she gives now! Rather hilarious!
Now time for the holidays... the morning of Christmas Eve, Kar and I made Santa his Christmas cookies...
Santa loves our peanut butter cookies...
... Kar just loves the peanut butter =)
And boy does she love her Grandma!
We had a lot of fun!
 Who wouldn't ?!?
I forgot my camera for Christmas Eve dinners at both families =/ (Hopefully Kate will post some pictures cuz Kar's little dress was really sweet... hint hint) This picture cracks me up though, When we got home I let Kar pick out what cup she wanted to use for Santa... A shot of milk for Santa.... PERFECT!
I have to say that I think Santa gets way to much credit for this whole Christmas thing... we ALL KNOW that Mrs. Clause does all the hard work! Geesh!!!!
A trail of candy canes brought Kar to her gifts...
... she got her first bike and the doggies got new beds!
When she woke up, the first thing she wanted to check is if Santa ate his cookies... SHE WAS AMAZED!!!!
And to say that she loves her bike is an understatement... she has woke up every morning since Christmas and said ... "Oh, my bike!" =)
This was a gift for the whole family from Santa... I don't think Santa knew how big this bean bag was actually going to be =/... Sure is comfy though!!!!
I have to tell this story about Carlos... for Christmas we only buy for our own kids and then draw names for the adults! But Carlos had told his mom before Christmas that he wanted her to go out and buy Karly this Simon Says dog that teaches you colors and numbers. She brought it home one night and asked if she got the right one... he said "Yep, that's it!", got out his own money and said "How much do I owe you?" He is just the most adorable boy in the world and Karly LOVES her gift!!! THANKS LOS!!!!
OMG... BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!!! Tamales, beans, eggs, bacon, sausage, warm tortilla = HEAVEN!!!
Kathie got a bike for Karly too...
... I think it is going to stay at her house and be a community bike for the grandkids... cuz Bella loved it too! =)
Papa showing Karly how to use his new driver he got for Christmas!
We save my moms house for last on Christmas day... Amy and Kar!

Enjoying this Holiday Season!

I love this time of year, and especially this year... Karly seems to be noticing everything a lot more this year and it is the best to see things through a childs eyes...
She went with us to get the tree this year! They said they wanted to hire her there because she was talking to everyone that walked in about how pretty the trees were! I showed her the presents under the tree and she is very excited about them, she has not tried to open them yet... she is being a very patient girl! =)
 Hyper one night running around!
Hard to see in this picture, but I love this time of year also because I decorate the house with all of our wedding decorations! Makes me happy! =)
The colder weather has brought the dogs indoors a little more! Amy lovin' on Sugar!
And these two are hilarious together!

THANK YOU SO MUCH LORD FOR ALL OF OUR MANY MANY BLESSINGS!!!!!

The title of my post has hit me hard the past few weeks in so many ways... the first reason is one I wish I never had to share, but it happened, and I have continued to thank the Lord so much for this blessing...
Last Thursday our baby girl was on the counter cooking with me when she fell backwards! Ricky and I both went to catch her and sort of ran into eachother, Ricky caught her feet... but it ended up that she hit her head even harder on our hard wood floors. She was silent and in shock at first but then her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she was out, limp in my arms! A vision that continues to run through my head and brings me to tears every time! By the time the ambulance got there she had come to but still hadn't cried and was trying to fall asleep. They took a look at her and said everything looked ok and she finally began to cry when they took her pulse... a sound we were all SOOO HAPPY TO HEAR!! They advised us to still have her checked out at emergency, which we did!!! She was fine after this... I, on the other hand, was not... I began to cry in the emergency room, and the tears just kept coming that night and the next day! I kept thinking, why didn't I catch her? Why didn't I break her fall? Why did I have her up there? I am such a bad mom!... While in the emergency room Karly saw me crying and said to me ..."MAMA, YOU CRYING?!?" then put her arms around me and said... "SHHHHH MAMA, IT ALRIGHT!"

So... Lord... I thank you so much for our little girl who is such a blessing to us and all that she meets. She is our pride and joy and I pray harm never comes to her!And although I know that I can't protect her all the time, I pray you help me to try harder! I thank you for being there to guide us and having a happy ending to this scare!!! Thank you from the bottom of a mothers loving heart!!!
The Saturday after Kar's fall, was Amy's 18th birthday... and guess what my crazy sister did?!?
She went SKY DIVING!!! Yes we all thought she was crazy... but her and her good friend Dane have wanted to for a long time, so we bought her the big leap for her birthday! They were both WAY EXCITED...
The package we got her included two practice jumps in the wind tunnel... Kar and Bamma watching Amy's first flight!
 Amy, Katie and Karly
The sane sisters who are smart enough to stay on the ground =) Nes kidding little brother!
 All geared up! CUTE =/
We all found it very fascinating to watch... Karly has still not stopped talking about it... "Mayme... Jump out of plane!!! Che's Crazy!!!"
Amy practiced with Dane and one other older man... She was the only one who had a huge smile on her face the whole time!!!!
... so I think she had a good time? =)
She even did so well that the instructor decided to fly with her... she was the only one he did this with! Way to show up the guys Amy!!! That's my little brother!
And she was the only one who can come out of the wind tunnel looking this cute!!!
The three jumpers and thier trainer!
Then it was time to do the real deal... mom messing around... speaking of scared moms, she was very happy when her baby girl was safe on the ground! You are going to have to look at Katie's blog here soon and look for all the actual skydiving shots she got... Kar was attached to me during the jump so I didn't get any... but Kate got some REALLY GOOD ONES!
After she jumped we enjoyed a yummy family lunch at Steer and Stein... YUM!!!
Me, Ricky and Mom
Me and my little sweetie... Thanks Amy for letting all of us enjoy in your craziness for your 18th!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH MAYME!!!!
