Katie actually got some better shots of the race on her blog, and I had my mom video...I just wanted to watch.
I didn't quite know how I was going to react when he raced. But I was actually just excited to see him do it and do it so well =)
He held is ground in the top two spots for the first portion of the main heat. He ended up spinning out on turn #2 and couldn't finish the race which left us all just wanting more.

I took my first real trip out ocean fishing to see what it was like and found out I am not a fan =( I was ok until I saw Dayton, Carlos, and Ricky get sick and almost Macy. The rocking of the boat immediately put Abby to sleep. Karly was soooo concerned for her Tarlos!!! And when she got sleepy from the rocking I decided to lay her down in the bed... that is what did me in. I couldn't recover after coming back on deck =/

As you probably already read from Kates blog (or if you haven't, check it out cuz she got some great pictures too!) I started getting the flu that day, which hit me full force that night.... which I was super bummed about cuz I was so ready for that slide (I did go down twice... which left me pretty sore, but I still wanted more! NEXT YEAR!!! I am so happy that everyone came and had fun with us on the Fourth... LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
