WAY TO GO KATIE!!!

On Thursday night Katie Graduated from the University of Redlands! We are all so proud of her and know she is going to make an awesome teacher!!!It was a beautiful night for a graduation...Katie looking lovely in her cap and gown!Walking up to get her diploma... YAY KATIE!!Mom and Katie... she was so happy for her baby girl!David and KatieWe are girls!Amy and KatieKt, Karly and MeKarly was a good girl all night, comfy in her front pack.We all took time to stop and smell the flowers mom got for Katie...... they were really beautiful...,,, even Karly girl got in on the action...... Katie loved her flowers!Then we headed out for pizza to celebrate afterwards! It was a fun night...We love you so much Katie and are so happy for you! You are awesome at everything you do. Way to go!

Happy Mothers Day To ALL (sorry so late!)

We had a great Mothers Day weekend... and very eventfull, Gracie's Birthday, My Birthday, Michelle's Birthday and Mothers Day on both sides of the family and back to work for me :(... here are some pictures from most of the events...Me and my baby girl!!!I saw this butterfly dress at Babys R Us and had to get it for Karly!Karly loves her Papa Rick!LOVE HER!!!Amy... my beautiful brother!!! :)We made mom a calender with pictures of her family for Mothers day... she got a kick out of it!We also got her a ring!We love you Mom!We also celebrated my birthday... Ricky got me a NEW TRUCK as my mothers day and birthday gift!!! I love it... I have always said how I missed my little toyota. Trucks are just so nice to have, and perfect for our family, from snowboards to dirtbikes... we just need a truck!I love it... THANKS BABE!!!This did mean I had to say good bye to my little Honda :( Loved this car, but it was just not roomy enough for us anymore... I will miss my little silver bullet! Bye (4 wacko 22) Tracy thought I had a personalized license plate... HA HAKarly girl got her first pair of shades... She loves them... Does not mess with them at all!!!She has quite a tude with them on though! Loves the pool too!!!I had to go back to work on my birthday :( This is one of the hardest things I have had to do. Cried the whole way to work, and my heart still breaks everyday I have to leave her... I know I sound like a sappy mom, but I don't care... It is still really hard!
I am so thankful that Kathie (my mother in law) is watching her... it would be so much harder if I had to find day care, and I am so thankful for that! Just hope it will get easier to leave her... we will see!

Now every chance I get I just want to be with my baby girl... LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!

Teeth, Confirmation & Videos!!!

The outfit Karly is wearing in this picture I thought was appropriate for this last week... the little character on her shirt is named "Lucy Toothy", too cute. And Karly is actually getting her first two little teeth already. I said... the Lord knows I am a hygienist, that is why he gave my little girl teeth so early :)She is doing pretty well with it, but we never leave the house w/out the orajel :)And lately you will always find her with her hands in her mouth...Or holding onto her binky :)She is making it through like a trooper! We had Paulina's Confirmation this week... Congrats Paul !!!Daddy is definately wrapped around her little finger!

We love you Papa Frank

Ricky's Papa went to heaven on Wednesday, he had an unexpected surgery that he had to go in for... and unfortunately his body could not handle it. We had all been warned that it was very serious... but we never lost hope that he may come through it. Ricky, Karly and I made it there just in time to be with him in his room when he took his last breath, along with all of his loving family, it was truly amazing to see how many people fit in that room. He was so loved! It was very hard for everyone... and is going to be for a very long time. He was an amazing man! Please keep the whole family in your prayers.

Nana has been with him since they were in sixth grade! Kathie, Ricky's mom, is truly daddy's little girl. And Ricky and his sisters... to say that they were extremely close to their Papa is an understatement, not to mention all of his great grandkids!! And I have only known him for close to 10 years now and loved him so much, he always made me feel like family (even telling people I was his grandaughter before Ricky and I were married :).

We love you so much Papa... We will miss you more than you will ever know! (And we promise to teach Karly the one-two's... she's almost got them down ;) Papa and Bella

Easter... Prayer Request... Birthdays... Wedding planning... and SMILES!!!

Well....we had a busy past couple of weeks... so this is gonna be a long post!

FIRST OFF....HAPPY EASTER EVERYBUNNY! We had the cutest easter bunny outfit for Karly!And she was the happiest bunny!Ha Ha... love it!Ricky and Karly... aka Ricky Jr. Jr... no DNA test needed :)We got up to my moms house early... Karly was a happy girl watching her grandma make her famous pies.....mmmmm!Then we headed over to Auntie Sues... she got a kick out of Karlys outfit!Owie Monkey found all his Easter eggs!Jenna had fun looking too... isn't she getting so tall! LOVE U BIRD!The Armstead Sisters! (My mom got Karly her little short outfit for Easter... THANK YOU!)We had a great time up at Auntie Sues house... thanks for great food and company! We love you guys!.... Then it was time to head down to Kathies house for another easter dinner!Paulina and Bella looking gorgeous as usual!Bella was so cute hunting eggs.Dayton, the expert egg hunter!Carlos.... so cute!But Macy was the one to find the last golden egg :) The gold ones had CASH... now you understand the excitement in her face! Kathie got Karly her pajama set and easter bunny ears! So comfy and cute... THANK YOU!Papa Frank loves to get a good look at Karly... and here is where our prayer request comes in. Papa was diagnosed with cancer and started chemotherapy for it this week. Most of you have met Ricky's family and understand how extremely close they are! This is a tough thing for any family to go through... so please keep Papa Frank and all of the family in your prayers... We love you Papa!Karly was exhausted by the end of the night.... slept from 9pm til 7 the next morning! We had a great Easter and are so blessed to have such great families!!! LOVE YOU!

The day after Easter was Kathies Birthday... so we got all geared up to go wish her Happy Birthday!I love this outfit on Karly... she looks like a little school girl!Michelle and Kellie did an awesome job of putting on a surprise lunch for their mom.... Everything was beautiful! Bella, Karly, and MacyKarly laughing at Macy!Lovin on Grandma for her Birthday... Happy Birthday Kathie... We Love You!We also did somemore dress shopping for Katie this past week. She has it narrowed down to two gorgeous dresses, we had a lot of fun going to look with her!The Bride to be, Me and KarlyBecca, Amy and KatieMom and BeccaHappy Karly GirlMe and MomMy mom can always find the weirdest positions that Karly LOVES!!! This one made me laugh!My friend Rachelle came to visit this week too... She is due to have her baby Kayla in June!As you can see... Karly has discovered smiling in a big way this past week.... she had gone through a little spell of colic for a while there, but we can all tell her tummy is starting to feel a lot better now...LOVE HER!
