Happy "last year of being young"!!! =)

The title of my post will be explained in a little bit... first let's look back at the past few exctiting week starting with Amy getting into a fight...

with her 21 month old neice!!! Guess who won?... ok not quite a fight, they were playing and Kar's tiny little finger almost touched Auntie Mayme's brain =/ oops!

 Here is my little fighter and one of Grandma Leah's bears which she is attached to at the hip lately =)

 We took a weekend to go out and shop for Amy's homecoming dance... shopping with the girls is always fun!

 So is picking out super ugly dresses and taking silly pictures =)

 That's my girl! Kar is repeating EVERYTHING we say now,"Pitha" is one of my favorites in her language!

 At this outdoor mall we they have the coolest water show that the kids can play in...

 ... Kar was a little more shy than the girl behind her in the picture! ...

 ...she is so cute!..

 ... "Guys! Check this out!"...

 ... she makes friends quickly! ...

 ... but took her time getting all the way in!!!...

 So much fun!

 A quick shopping trip to get Kar some pj's since she was completely soaked! And a sweet treat from mom! Time to cuddle up to Aunt Kate.... the best!!!

 And now the title of my post... Ricky celebrated his 29th birthday this past weekend and that is what I told him in his card =) I know I am a butt... don't worry I will be starting that year in May!

 It is always fun when we can get both of our families together! We all enjoy eachother! Here is Michelle, Kar and what you can see of Bella!

 The same night Amy had her homecoming... she got ready at our house, and we got to see all the girls dressed up!

 This sonogram was actually done on me when I was 13 weeks... I am already 16 this Saturday (time flies) but it was the most clear sonogram I have EVER had! So I had to share... here is the baby looking straight at us!

... and a side shot... the doctor actually told me it is possible to tell what the sex is this early BUT VERY RARE that the baby will be that cooperative... and ours is a MOVER! Every visit the doctor comments on how much the baby is moving! =) The "big" sonogram is set for November 22nd!!! I am feeling wonderful and eating EVERYTHING IN SIGHT! =)

Everybody has been asking to see my belly... so here it is! 4 months... 5 months to go! =) Can't wait to meet this little one!

Mom's 50th... VEGAS BABY!!!

When we found out that GARTH BROOKS was playing at the Encore (Part of the Wynn Hotel) in Las Vegas, we knew FOR SURE this was where we were taking our mom for her 50th birthday! We have all been fans for a very long time plus you add in gambling and family time... my mom was sooooo EXCITED!

This hotel was by far the MOST BEAUTIFUL hotel I have ever stayed in!

This is our view from our hotel room, we were about half way up on the 32nd floor!

Mom was excited to see the scenery of the hotels, ok not really... we had to pull her away from the machines anytime we wanted to look around! =/ What can I say? She's got that gambling Irish blood in her!

As we all know Vegas ALWAYS has some sights to see, mainly the crazy people that walk around at night, but I thought it would be inappropriate to take pictures of strangers =/ So I took a few of some of the awesome hotel landscapes!

Along with all the MONEY in Vegas comes some crazy stores, the guys were laughing at us for going into some crazy expensive shoe stores, and then we come out and they are walking out of here smiling! =) Notice how the guy in the blue can tell they were not suppose to be in here =)

 So I had to be a rebel and try to get one shot, not so good without a flash... but let me tell you how much fun we all had! Garth walked out all relaxed in a T-shirt, jeans, dirty boots, and a base ball cap! He told his whole life story, sang AMAZING and even took questions from the audience... it was honestly the best concert we have ever been to! We were all smiles afterwards...

 These were Ricky's favorite machines on the trip, he and I are slightly different gamblers than my good ol mom... if we put in $20 and double our money, we cash out and are SOOO HAPPY! =)

 The next day my mom was ready to try her luck again, she found Karly's dog in our truck and decided he would be her lucky charm for the day!

 Ricky and I wanted to go to the top of the stratosphere first though, so mom came along to see what it was all about...

 The view is a definite "Sick to your stomach" view!

 They even had bungee jumping from the top... uh I DON'T THINK SO!

 These are Ricky and my moms favorite machines, and they both actually did pretty good that morning when they went off by themselves gambling... Notice Karly's dog that mom made sure was with her at all times! =)

 That night we went out to an amazing dinner at Gallaghers in the New York, New York... Kathie's recommendation. Mom said she wanted Lobster for her birthday dinner, and man did she get it! The biggest Lobster I've ever seen along with a juicy steak and a free Mojito from the nice waiter! YUM!

 Then we headed over to the Belagio to watch the water show, one of our favorites! My dork of a husband throwing up a West side sign!

 Our last day, remembering the BEST moments of our trip!

 YAY MOM! You are 50! Happy Birthday... We Love You SOOOOOO Much! And can't wait for our next big trip!

 Bye Wynn... Now get me home so I can see my baby girl! Now although we had a blast, I still missed my baby so bad... I cried most of the trip up right after we left her (this was the first time EVER leaving her over night =/) But I knew she was in the best hands with her Papa Rick and Grandma Kathie... Thanks guys for taking such good care of our love!

 She was so happy to see us and come home to her new favorite spot... her room, watching Madagascar, with a cup full of popcorn!

 She watches it about 4 times a day, and has it memorized now... she can practically say the movie along with it!

 She did take a break to grab the nerd candies out of our candy drawer and spill them all over the kitchen! =/

 She thought this was a brilliant idea =) Man I missed her and LOVE her so much I can't stand it!

On the pregnancy front, I am getting my energy back YAY! I am 12 weeks tomorrow and everything looks good so far... we even got to see the baby for the first time on Wednesday at our first appointment! =) The due date is officially April 12... so excited!
