"Daddy's Little Dirl"

We are completely ready for Abby to arrive now...

Car seat ready to go...

... and we couldn't bring Abby home without one of Grandma Kel's blankets... my mom out did herself this time, she even made the cute little flower... I LOVE IT!!!

 

Katie took some pregnancy photos of me at the same time we took them when I was pregnant with Kar so I can have something to look back on, she printed them all for me and put her fav's in a frame! THANK YOU SO MUCH KATE!

All these gifts were given to me at a girls get together Katie put together at last minute, it was just what I wanted... just a few of my close girls, yummy food and relaxing time together. PERFECT!

 We also had Carlos' SURPRISE 7th birthday to attend the same weekend...

 ... this adorable kid cracks me up, he told his mom he wanted a surprise party, what he wanted to eat, who he wanted there, and what kind of cake he wanted... and was REALLY surprised when he walked in! TOO CUTE!

And now to get to the title of my post... I had a great "Mom" experience the other day... I have two songs I sing to Karly when I am laying her down to sleep. They are both songs Grandma June used to sing to her kids and my mom sang to all of us, so when Karly sang the WHOLE song back to me one night... it brought a tear to my eye..

For St. Patty's Day this year, we headed up to my moms to celebrate with corn beef sandwiches, potatoe salad, fried pickles, artichoke dip and mint chocolate bars...

 ... Kar and I were in charge of the potatoe salad, artichoke dip and mint bars, so we made a trip to the grocery store in the morning...

 ... she is always a hit in the store anyways (she says hi to EVERYONE) but with this outfit on, she seemed to get a lot more attention... the adorable pig tails were a gift from her Grandma Kathie... SOOO CUTE!!

We enjoyed dinner... Ricky made the fried pickles, which were my favorite of the night... GRUB!!! And I ate way to many of them... but hey, if you can't enjoy an Irish tottie... then you better enjoy the food! =)

 Karly and I have enjoyed our time together lately... we have had time to visit with friends...

... and excited still to see Abby June... ANY DAY NOW, I am dilated to 1 and been having some contractions every once in a while... still jogging and feeling good, we will see what day she decides on =)

Welcome Emmy Bleu!!!

March 1st Ricky's sister Kellie FINALLY delivered her beautiful fourth child... miss Emmy Bleu! She came two weeks late and weighed only 6.8 and is just so tiny and sooooo adorable...

... Proud Dad Chach took this picture! I hung in there until about 12:30am and everything was going pretty slow still, so I decided to go home to get a few hours sleep and of course that is when EVERYTHING decided to kick in full force... Emmy was here a few hours later...

I'm sad I missed the delivery but Chach and Kathie got some great photos! And I am just so happy she is here safe and sound!

She is just soooo sweet!

The next day Karly and I headed out to meet her newest cousin...

... and I got to get some photos of Emmy's first day here =) It still amazes me how babies just know thier mamas! Such a gift from God!

Good job Kel... you and Chach made another gorgeous child! Congratulations!!!

I decided to make a big pot of Chicken tortilla soup and have the Family over to enjoy this little bundle... here is Grandma Kathie and her newest little grandchild... Emmy makes 8 =)

Michelle was on a cruise the week Emmy was born...

...and was soooo excited to get home to meet her new neice!

Michelle bought tons of gifts for all the kids on her trip... this is the adorable Mickey anklet she got for Karly! Too Cute! Thanks Auntie Michelle!

Karly loves her new cousin Emmy Bleu...

... she has told everybody about her and how she had to have her diaper changed in the hospital =)...

... and everytime she hears her sweet little cry, she runs to see what is going on!

... she is also surprisingly very gentle with her too! =)

Most of the girl grandkids... we forgot Paulina... and we are of course waiting a few weeks for Abby June! =)

After everyone left Karly and I were realizing how excited we are to meet our newest one =)...

I think my baby girl is going to make a very good big sister! =)
