A Fine Father =)

Those of you who have known Ricky and I since we first started dating know that I have been smitten with this guy since the moment I met him! And ten years later, my love keeps on growing for him... although he irritates me at times =) I just can't help but fall in love with him more and more. Even through all his stupidity in our younger days, I always knew he had a heart of gold and he proves that to me on a daily basis.  

We celebrated Ricky's 2nd fathers day this past weekend... and I could not even imagine a better father than my husband to Karly! The love between a father and a daughter is just amazing to watch... even though she still calls him "mama" =)

 

We got him a very sentimental card this year...

 

maybe not... but I thought it was hilarious!

 

Karly helped him open his gift, which he begged us to open the night before fathers day... such a kid still!!!

 

Ricky can't get enough of this sweet face!

 

Now the morning of fathers day we had a bit of an accident...

 

... Kar was riding on a little snail toy we got her and thought she could stand up on it like her quad and ATE IT...

 

Fat lip, her mouth and mama's shirt full of blood, and one freaked out Dad! He can't stand to see her get hurt!

 

A few tears, and a couple pop-cycles later...

 

... STUPID SNAIL!

 

... but it never takes long for her to recover =)

 

Then we headed over to the Lee house to celebrate... I said SMILE men in our family!!!!! Ugh! I am actually proud of my husband, he has the biggest smile out of all the guys =)

One of Kar's favorite things to do is try and put on my clothes... usually it is my underwear =/ This time one of my shirts =)

AND... one last thing... Ricky is the baithing parent in our house and when he is concentrating on something he ALWAYS does this weird thing with his lips. He looks kind of like a fish. Well, one day while giving Kar a bath, he looked at her face and she was repeating his face. We all get a good laugh at it. She sort of does it in this video but is also being silly too!
