Our June Bug is Here!!!

Abby June Lee... born April 7, 2011 at 12:30 am... she was 7 lbs 1/2 ounce and 19 1/2 inches long....

She cried for a second when born and then was silent just taking this new world all in =)

This shot is for Kar... the first time we changed her diaper together (she is my little helper) she said to me "Mom, I like-a- her booty!"

Meeting her Daddy for the first time! The tears of joy kept coming for Ricky!

I could not wait to get her into my arms! 

This little grubber had no problem with breast feeding... she was searching the second she came out, latched on, and nursed for an hour and a half straight!!! Love it!

Grandma Kelly and her second grandbaby... the labor and delivery was really awesome, everything went very well and we are so happy she is here happy and healthy!

We got to come home the next day (no jaundice for Abby... yay!) and Katie, David and Amy had put together this set up for us.( I told Ricky that it is things like this that make me so happy Karly now has a sister!)...

Complete with a six pack of Killians in the fridge (my fav) I immediately threw one in the freezer... Grandma June was a big believer in beer helping your milk come in, so I enjoyed my first beer in 9 months and BOY DID IT MAKE MY MILK COME IN QUICK =) Abby is a happy girl!

The days after have been peaceful and we are all just taking time to enjoy both our beauties!

 We have compared baby pictures of Karly and Abby and they look similar but also very different... it is fun to compare! They were both such pretty newborns! And for the question everyone has been asking.... YES Abby did get the dimples, not quite as deep as Karly and the right one is more pronounced, but they are there! =)

My two dimple dumplings! Karly is an AMAZING big sister, just like I knew she would be...

She can't walk by her without giving her a kiss!

She is very gentle and LOVES to hold her!

And I you can see how Abby already adores her big sister... she is very calm in her arms and you can see a twinkle in her eye when she looks at her!

Snoozin, she had her first doctors appointment on monday and has gained 7 oz already... and her belly button has already fallen off. Time is already flying with this one!

Sisters!

It is hard to put our finger on exactly what is different in Abby's look, but at times something in her look resembles Katie's baby pictures a little to me...

One hilarious thing though is that besides the dimples... both girls also got their Daddys toes... it is rather hilarious, on Ricky's right foot his second and third toe are slightly webbed at the bottom and BOTH Kar and Ab got the same thing and all on the right foot!

My big girl has been so helpful latley... even putting on her own pull up to take her nap, but accidently put it on backwards =) "I like-a- your booty baby girl!!!"

It is amazing our hearts can hold so much love! Thank you Lord for blessing us with yet another healthy, happy, and absolutely gorgeous baby girl!
