We are completely ready for Abby to arrive now...

... and we couldn't bring Abby home without one of Grandma Kel's blankets... my mom out did herself this time, she even made the cute little flower... I LOVE IT!!!
Katie took some pregnancy photos of me at the same time we took them when I was pregnant with Kar so I can have something to look back on, she printed them all for me and put her fav's in a frame! THANK YOU SO MUCH KATE!
All these gifts were given to me at a girls get together Katie put together at last minute, it was just what I wanted... just a few of my close girls, yummy food and relaxing time together. PERFECT!

We also had Carlos' SURPRISE 7th birthday to attend the same weekend...
... this adorable kid cracks me up, he told his mom he wanted a surprise party, what he wanted to eat, who he wanted there, and what kind of cake he wanted... and was REALLY surprised when he walked in! TOO CUTE!

And now to get to the title of my post... I had a great "Mom" experience the other day... I have two songs I sing to Karly when I am laying her down to sleep. They are both songs Grandma June used to sing to her kids and my mom sang to all of us, so when Karly sang the WHOLE song back to me one night... it brought a tear to my eye..

That blanket is awesome..your momma makes the best blankets. We keep waiting to here of Abby has decided to make her way out...can't wait to see pictures. Karly is cuter than ever and I love that seeing Ricky as a daddy. I haven't heard that song..you will have to teach me in June. Sending light and love for an easy labor. Love you!
Geez I am such an engineer I meant "hear" and not "here" I might need Katie to give me a basic grammar lesson!
